The IATA Wings of Change Focus Africa (WOCFA) stands as a premier industry event in the region, gathering aviation leaders, regulators, and subject matter experts to engage in discussions on the key challenges and opportunities in air transport.
Together, they collaboratively formulate future strategies to enhance the utilization of air transport as a catalyst for economic and social development throughout the African region.

Africa is recognised as possessing the highest growth potential within the aviation industry among all regions.
While IATA’s unwavering commitment to promoting safe, secure, and sustainable air transport across Africa remains steadfast, there is an urgent necessity to expedite the progress of aviation across the continent.
The next edition of WOCFA will take place on July 2-3 in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Over 400 leaders, decision-makers, and influencers representing airlines, airports, government agencies, air navigation service providers, international and regional associations, aviation suppliers, aircraft manufacturers, and other stakeholders will attend the event.
