In Vietnam, TAM Group’s partner is TP Cargo Transport Services, a leading cargo GSA/GSSA operator. Director Jereemy Tan welcomes the partnership and mentions “Vietnam is one of the world’s most exciting markets, with a growing economy and a young labour force. Aviation is one of the key factors behind Vietnam’s economic growth with the sector contributing an estimated US$12.5 billion to Vietnam’s GDP and over 2.2 million jobs, as per IATA estimate. Furthermore, Vietnam’s participation in the ‘ASEAN Open Skies’ since 2015 has helped create a favourable environment for the growth of air freight industry in the country. We look forward to connecting Vietnam with the world in partnership with TAM Group,” he says.
The group was selected by China Cargo Airlines (CK) as the representative company for the carrier, effective early 2023. CK will operate four flights each week between Hanoi and Shanghai and one weekly flight between Ho Chi Minh City and Kunming.
