- Swissport has named Steven Polmans as its new Global Senior Vice President Cargo, bringing over 20 years of experience to the role.
- He will lead global cargo operations, drive strategy, and strengthen Swissport’s innovation agenda as it targets significant growth. Polmans previously led major cargo transformation efforts and is expected to enhance the company’s position as a key global airfreight player.
Swissport, a global aviation services company, has appointed Steven Polmans as Global Senior Vice President Cargo, reporting directly to the Global Cargo Chair.
With more than two decades of experience in the aviation industry and a proven record in developing and executing effective cargo strategies, Polmans will oversee Swissport’s global air cargo operations. In this role, he will focus on driving the company’s global cargo strategy, enhancing commercial performance, and strengthening Swissport’s position as an innovative, value-adding partner in the air cargo value chain.
