• Röhlig Logistics has appointed Hector Midolo as Regional CEO LATAM, succeeding Michael Gerding.
• Midolo will lead the freight forwarder’s continued growth and development across Latin America.
• Gerding will take on a new leadership role at OnBoard Logistics in October 2026.

Röhlig Logistics announces a leadership change in the Latin America region: Michael Gerding, Regional CEO LATAM, stepped down from his position on 31 August 2026 and will take on a new leadership role at OnBoard Logistics on 1 October 2026. With effect from 1 September 2026, Hector Midolo has assumed the role of Regional CEO LATAM at Röhlig Logistics.

Michael Gerding’s move to OnBoard Logistics is taking place with the full support of the owners and leadership teams of both companies. In his new role, Michael Gerding will represent the interests of the shareholders and act as an ambassador for Röhlig within OnBoard Logistics. This will strengthen the close partnership between the two companies and support joint business development.

Hector Midolo is an experienced logistics executive with many years in senior roles within the industry. He joined Röhlig in January 2025 as Chief Commercial Officer LATAM and Head of Global Sales for the Americas. In this role, he was responsible for commercial business development in Latin America as well as the expansion of global customer relationships in the Americas region.
