- Roberto Alvo, CEO of LATAM Airlines Group, has been named the 2026 BRAVO CEO of the Year by the Council of the Americas.
- The award recognises Alvo’s leadership of LATAM since March 2020, including its financial restructuring, digital transformation and operational efficiency.
- LATAM Group includes three cargo subsidiaries with access to passenger belly capacity and a dedicated fleet of 20 freighters.
Roberto Alvo, CEO of LATAM Airlines Group, has been named the recipient of the 2026 BRAVO CEO of the Year Award, a distinction presented by the Council of the Americas (COA) as part of the 31st edition of the BRAVO Business Awards. The award will be presented on November 19 in Miami, United States.
The award recognises Alvo’s leadership in LATAM’s transformation during one of the most challenging periods in the history of the airline industry, namely the COVID-19 pandemic. Since assuming the role of CEO in March 2020, he has led the company through a comprehensive financial restructuring, laying the foundations to strengthen its resilience and long-term growth.
Under his leadership, LATAM achieved its strongest financial performance to date, accelerated its digital transformation and advanced its operational efficiency. Throughout this process, Alvo also placed a strong emphasis on people, supporting the dedication and commitment of the more than 44,000 employees who make up the Group across the region.
