He founded QCS with a commitment to trust, precision, and personal responsibility—principles that shaped the business into a leading European logistics provider.

“Dieter Haltmayer was not only the founder of a company, but the founder of values that shaped generations of logistics professionals,” QCS shared in a tribute posted to LinkedIn. “His entrepreneurial spirit, leadership, and dedication created a foundation that continues to guide us today.”

Haltmayer was known for prioritising relationships – with customers, partners and employees alike – believing that integrity and partnership were as vital to success as performance.
