- QCargo has launched the air cargo industry’s first AI-powered verification and compliance platform, designed to streamline credential checks, partner due diligence, and export control screening.
- By reducing traditional verification timelines from weeks to 24 hours, QCargo enables freight forwarders to ensure regulatory compliance, financial transparency, and sanctions screening through automated, real-time validation aligned with existing global industry standards.
QCargo, the first AI-driven verification and compliance platform built specifically for the air cargo and freight forwarding industry, has announced its commercial launch. The platform addresses a critical industry gap by verifying company credentials and partner compliance in an environment where trust and regulatory adherence are essential.
“In today’s complex and interconnected supply chains, quality is no longer a differentiator — it is a necessity,” said Turgut Erkeskin, President and CEO of Genel Transport. “At Genel Transport, we have always believed that verified processes, transparency, and accountability are essential for sustainable logistics. QCargo’s qualification framework provides exactly the kind of independent and credible benchmark the industry needs, and we are proud to be among the first companies to meet this standard.”
Traditional verification processes, including validation of certifications, financial standing, and compliance status, typically take two to four weeks of manual checks. QCargo reduces this timeline to 24 hours by using AI to cross-reference company data against industry databases, certification registries, and global sanctions lists.
The QCargo platform empowers freight forwarders with three core capabilities. First, independent company verification allows QCargo to verify freight forwarders against major industry standards and certifications while conducting financial health assessments, ultimate beneficial owner checks, and sanctions screening. Verified companies receive a QCargo badge for use in marketing materials, RFPs, and airline tenders.
Second, AI-powered partner verification enables freight forwarders to instantly verify any partner within their network. The platform checks certifications, financial standing, and sanctions status in real time, allowing due diligence to be completed before agreements are signed rather than relying on post-facto compliance.
Third, the export control module screens shipping documents against OFAC, EU, and UN sanctions lists, validates HS codes, and checks denied parties databases. Results are delivered within seconds, with specific compliance risks clearly flagged to prevent violations before shipments move.
“QCargo Solutions does not create new rules or frameworks; we verify compliance with existing industry requirements and provide the independent validation the logistics sector has been missing, at the speed modern business requires,” said Danny Arendse, CEO of QCargo.
QCargo is administered by experienced freight logistics and compliance consultants based in Geneva, Switzerland. The platform integrates OpenAI-powered document analysis with leading financial intelligence databases and official regulatory sources. It offers three verification levels — Silver, Gold, and Platinum — alongside pay-per-use access to compliance tools. In addition, a Solutions Marketplace connects freight forwarders with vetted compliance consultants and training programs to support alignment with the latest standards and technologies.
