The arrival of “Thantima” represents the first of two ATR 72-500 Freighters planned for incorporation into Pattaya Airways’ fleet. These versatile aircraft will play a pivotal role in the airline’s cargo operations, facilitating seamless transportation both domestically and internationally. The second ATR 72-500 Freighter is scheduled to join the fleet by May 2024, bringing the total to two aircraft by the end of the year. The airline has received its Air Operating License (AOL) from the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT) and is currently in Phase 3 of acquiring its Air Operator Certificate (AOC). This phase involves the meticulous evaluation of operational manuals, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
