Iberia has joined IATA CO2 Connect, an initiative by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) aimed at providing accurate, transparent and consistent CO₂ emissions data based on real airline operational input.

With Iberia’s participation, Spain now has the highest number of airlines involved in the programme globally, highlighting the country’s growing commitment to sustainability and data-driven transparency in aviation.

IATA CO2 Connect is designed to improve the quality and reliability of emissions data, supporting industry efforts to enhance environmental accountability.
