- Wilson Kwong, Chief Executive of HACTL, has been appointed Hong Kong Transport Services Director of MTR Corporation, effective 28 January 2026, succeeding Jeny Yeung.
- Kwong has led HACTL since 2018, following previous CEO roles at Jardine Engineering Corporation (2012–2018) and Raffles Quay Asset Management (2009–2012), and currently chairs major Hong Kong business associations.
- Kwong expressed gratitude for his eight years at HACTL and readiness for a new challenge, while MTR CEO Dr. Jacob Kam praised his broad leadership experience and confidence in his ability to enhance MTR’s service standards.
Wilson Kwong, the Chief Executive of HACTL, has been appointed as the Hong Kong Transport Services Director of MTR Corporation, effective 28th January 2026.
Kwong joined HACTL in 2018, having previously served as Chief Executive Officer of Jardine Engineering Corporation, from 2012 to 2018, and Chief Executive Officer Officer of Raffles Quay Asset Management, from 2009 to 2012. He is also currently the Chairman of the Employers’ Federation of Hong Kong and Chairman of the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce’s Transport and Logistics Committee.
“This was a very difficult decision for me, after eight wonderful years leading the world’s definitive air cargo ground handler. But I feel the time is right to take up a new challenge outside the air cargo arena, and to make way for a new leader to stamp their own mark on this iconic business,” Kwong said.
“I am proud to be leaving Hactl in the best possible shape – a team that is dedicated, hard-working, and simply the best in the business. Until my departure, my team and I will continue to work together to deliver the service excellence for which Hactl has become renowned.”
Dr Jacob Kam, Chief Executive Officer of MTR Corporation welcomed Kwong to the Corporation, succeeding Jeny Yeung who will assume the role of Chief Executive Officer on 1 January 2026.
“Mr Kwong brings with him extensive management experience across various sectors including in engineering, aviation and logistics, real estate development and asset management. I am confident that he will lead the team to build upon our existing foundation to reach new heights and continue to enhance MTR’s service standards to serve our passengers,” Dr Kam said.
