Billund Airport in central Denmark received reports of a bomb threat and was evacuated immediately. Communications Manager Dan Prangsgaard confirmed to ACW that the airport had opened and that everything is back to normal.
“We are in full operation, and traffic is back to normal,” said Prangsgaard.

It has since emerged that one man has been arrested in connection with the bomb threat. It is currently unclear if anyone else was involved, wrote The Sun. Newspaper shared pictures from the airport show a man in handcuffs being led away from the scene by police.
Police inspector Michael Weiss said: “We ask everyone not to drive towards the airport and to follow the police’s instructions on the spot.
“The evacuation has proceeded calmly and as expected, with travellers following our instructions.” Weiss has also apologised for the closure of the airport and for how many people it has impacted.
