“I am very pleased to announce the promotion of Edward Hardy to Head of Editorial at Air Cargo Week,” Kim Smith, General Manager and Director of Operations at Air Cargo Week, said.
“Edward joined ACW in May 2022 as Editor. From the start, he demonstrated a genuine passion for the air cargo industry and a steadfast commitment to delivering the quality journalism our readers worldwide rely on.
“Over the past few years, Edward has driven significant growth in our editorial output. In 2024, Anastasiya Simsek joined as a News Reporter, working alongside long-serving supplement editor James Graham and our expanding international roster of writers to broaden our global reach and coverage.
“Through it all, Edward has provided the leadership and vision that have allowed our editorial content to evolve alongside the industry we cover.
“In his new role as Head of Editorial, Edward will lead the editorial team and oversee the direction of all Air Cargo Week publications and platforms. His experience, dedication, and deep understanding of the sector make him the ideal person to guide our editorial strategy as we continue expanding our global coverage.
“Edward’s promotion is thoroughly well deserved, and I look forward to working closely with him as we further develop Air Cargo Week and the value it brings to readers across the industry.”
“I’m delighted to take on this new role and continue building on Air Cargo Week’s impressive legacy,” Edward Hardy said.
“Since joining ACW, we’ve transformed the publication into one of the most engaged and fastest-growing in the industry.
“From launching new features like ‘Did You Know’, ’60 Seconds With …’ and the ‘Voice of the Industry’ column, to introducing GATEWAY magazine and rolling out a digital-first strategy, it’s been an exhilarating period for the team. And this is just the beginning—watch this space.”
