Silk Way West Airlines is expanding its digital distribution capabilities through its partnership with CargoAi, providing more than 30,000 freight forwarders with seamless access to the airline’s capacity, real-time rates, and eBooking services across key markets in the USA, Europe and Asia. Building on the digital partnership announced at Air Cargo China 2026 in Shanghai, the integration now enables bookings for general cargo, lithium batteries, and dangerous goods through CargoMART, and direct connections to leading Transport Management Systems via CargoCONNECT, providing greater visibility, automation, and reach across multiple booking environments throughout the airline’s service network.
The development marks the next stage of Silk Way West Airlines’ digital transformation and reflects the airline’s broader strategy to make its cargo capacity and services increasingly accessible through the digital environments used by freight forwarders worldwide. The original partnership agreement established the framework for enhanced rate visibility and future digital booking capabilities. The expanded integration now translates that framework into a wider digital distribution offering for customers.

“Expanding our digital distribution in retail is an important part of how we continue to evolve our customer experience,” said Wolfgang Meier, President of Silk Way West Airlines. “Through our partnership with CargoAi, freight forwarders now have another way to access our capacity, rates, and services through the digital channels they use every day. By making our offering more visible and easier to book, we are creating a more efficient customer journey while continuing to strengthen the digital capabilities of our global network.”
