Vipul Misra has been named the Acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of SriLankan Airlines, effective today, September 9.
With more than 20 years of experience in aircraft engineering and aviation management, Misra has a diverse background that includes prestigious commercial airlines such as Air India, Vistara, Indigo, SpiceJet, Kingfisher Airlines, and Air Deccan.
His extensive knowledge in both full-service and low-cost airline operations is anticipated to offer valuable technical and operational guidance during this transitional phase, as SriLankan Airlines aims to improve its performance and ensure long-term viability.
