Kales Airline Services announced its new role as the official cargo sales agent representing Alaska Airlines in the United Kingdom, Ireland, and Italy, marking a significant milestone in the company’s continued international expansion.
This cooperation supports Alaska’s introduction of new daily transatlantic services between Seattle and key European cities. Daily flights between Rome and Seattle are set to commence on 29 April, while daily flights between Seattle and London will begin on 21 May. In the UK, Wexco, a fully owned subsidiary of the Kales Group, will represent Alaska Airlines.
Also, in important offline markets like Turkey and India the Kales Group will expand its network offerings with Alaska Airlines.
Sebastiaan Scholte, CEO of Kales Group, expressed his enthusiasm about the partnership: “This exciting new cooperation with Alaska and Hawaiian enables our group to significantly expand our network. It allows us to offer our customers more destinations not only across North America, but also onward connections to South Korea, Japan, and Australia.”
Ian Morgan, VP Cargo at Alaska Airlines, also shared his excitement about the new partnership:
“Having Kales represent Alaska Airlines in these new markets will provide our customers a seamless experience when working with us. Kales and Alaska share a dedication to high quality service and will be strong partners as we grow in Europe.”
The introduction of the Boeing 787 aircraft on these routes further enhances the offering. Known for its efficiency and long-haul capabilities, the B787 passenger aircraft also provides excellent opportunities for cargo transport, supporting growing demand in global logistics. In addition to the extensive domestic US network, Alaska and Hawaiian Air Cargo serve 14 locations across Asia, the South Pacific, Canada and Mexico from its global gateways in Honolulu (HNL) and Seattle (SEA).
With this partnership, Kales Airline Services strengthens its position as a key player in the aviation services industry, delivering enhanced connectivity and value to customers across Europe and beyond
