• Wexco Cargo and China Airlines have agreed a two-year extension of their UK general sales agent partnership, reinforcing a collaboration that began in 2012.
• The renewed agreement covers belly-hold cargo on passenger flights, freighter services, and road feeder operations linking the UK with Asia via London Heathrow Airport, Luxembourg Airport and Taipei Taoyuan International Airport.
• The extension reflects continued confidence in Wexco’s handling of China Airlines’ UK cargo operations and supports ongoing connectivity to key Asian markets, including Hong Kong, Bangkok and Manila.

Wexco Cargo GSSA and China Airlines (CI) have agreed a new two-year extension to their UK general sales agent partnership, starting this month.Wexco has supported CI’s UK cargo activity across belly hold capacity on passenger flights, dedicated freighter services, and road feeder operations since 2012, working closely with the airline’s teams at London Heathrow Airport (LHR), as well as in Luxembourg (LUX), and Taipei (TPE), Taiwan.

“A shared focus on solutions-driven outcomes and a customer-first approach have enabled us to deliver a consistently high standard of service for the UK market, both companies are extremely proud of.”

CI currently operates five direct flights per week from LHR to TPE, with freighter services via LUX supported by regular road feeder services from the UK, and onward connections to selected Asian destinations, including Hong Kong, Bangkok, Thailand, and Manila, Philippines.
