The initial phase of this ambitious project, conducted in collaboration with Cargo Community Network (CCN), has been successfully completed. This phase involved the creation and sharing of shipment records across airlines, cargo community system providers, and ground handling agents on the ONE Record platform. CCN’s open data collaboration platform, CUBEforall, plays a crucial role by enhancing data exchange and transparency while seamlessly integrating legacy systems with ONE Record standards. This achievement was showcased during the IATA ONE Record roadshow in Singapore on July 23, 2024.

Transforming Air Cargo Operations

Shipment records are essential documents in air cargo operations, underpinning all key processes in sales, planning, and execution for various stakeholders. Traditionally, a single shipment results in multiple copies of shipment records, leading to inefficiencies and the cumbersome handling of physical documents. The digitisation of shipment records through the ONE Record initiative addresses these challenges by enabling a single source of truth for shipment data.
